Technique March 2010:NICHIGEKI (from the Ten no kata / Fudo Shinden Ryu)
- 1/ Uke assumes Kumi Uchi Hold and prepares to throw with ryote seoi nage.
- 2/ Tori Quickly sinks hips becoming a low weight so uke is unable to throw - tori goes into hira no kamae .
- 3/ Tori places legs close to uke's right knee and simultaeously strikes uke in face with shako, gouging eyes as an option. .
- 4/ Tori swiftly steps behind uke's right leg with his own right leg and controls body.
- 5/ As uke's balance is broken, Tori shoots his right leg through uke's leg and executes omote-gake throw/sweep.
- 6/ Uke lands on his back and Tori finishes and rolls away to escape .
