Welcome to the Tengu Ryu Ely website. This site aims to promote Bujinkan Ninjutsu and support the members of the Ely dojo that teaches this martial art.
If Karate is punching and kicking; Judo throwing; Jujutsu grappling and locks; and Kendo uses a sword, what does Ninjutsu do?
All of the above plus acrobatics, tumbling, multiple sword styles, throwing weapons (shurikens), knife-fighting, three types of staffs, chain weapons, spear and naginata, climbing, hiding, silent movement, psychology, strategy and a path to spiritual enlightenment.
It’s an unpredictable world out there; it’s best to be prepared for anything (and the 1st lesson is free).
